Why Purdue?

The PMC Guild chose to be on a campus because the facilities are great and the costs are low. Instead of a hotel that caters to weddings, proms, and sales meetings, we think the academic setting is more appropriate to our needs. The dedicated lecture halls, dining facilities, and auditorium provide an ideal setting for our gathering.

Of all the universities in the country, why this one? Purdue is within 500 miles of three out of four Americans, which means that many participants can drive. This makes carpooling possible, which can reduce travel costs. We know that the airport is not as convenient as in other locations, but this one drawback is far outweighed by the benefits. The staff at Purdue goes out of their way to make the conference enjoyable for all participants, and each year we are able to add new features because we are not forced to start over in a new location.
